1975 year-end WABC Music Radio flyer sent to their listeners who wrote them.
17 May 1975 - (Hey, won't you play) 'Another somebody done somebody wrong song' by B.J. Thomas #1 at the Country & Western Chart.
26 April 1975(Hey, won't you play) 'Another somebody done somebody wrong song' by B.J. Thomas #1

Note: Arthur, the US-Portuguese fellow whom I had first met at Giovanni's flat when we all lived on Wilson Avenue, in the Fall of 1971 - sent me Via Air Mail, a cassette-tape with Casey Kasem's 'American Top 40' show broadcast on WPIX on 26 April May 1975. WPIX, for the good of New York.

As I had lived in São Paulo, now, for more than 2 years, I played the tape and was despondent to realized I had never heard most of the songs for they didn't play them on Brazilian radio stations. I only remember I was surprised to find out B.J. Thomas was Number One with a song I had never heard. São Paulo radio stations played Elton John's 'Philadelphia Freedom', 'Lovin' you' with Minnie Riperton, 'Before the next tear drop falls' with Mex Freddy Fender and 'Stand by me' with John Lennon. One can see that only 4 songs of a 20 song-pool is a pretty low ratio.

I was really thankful to Arthur for havind done such a great favour to have sit down for 3 hours and listen to Casey Kasem Sunday morning broadcast; tape the whole thing and send it to me all the way down to South America. I must have sent him a letter telling him how happy I had been to be able to listen to a piece of American radio here. I was actually preparing myself to get back to the US for a 2nd time. I would fly on 4th of July 1975, and arrive at JFK Airport on the 5th. This time my stay in the USA would be different. I would work at Jewish resorts on mountains of New York State's Catskills.

I don't remember whether I actually saw Arthur in 1975. I remember I knocked on his door but he wasn't home. A few days later I took a ride to Monticello, N.Y. with Cuica & Antonieta and would seldom visit Newark again. I ended up losing contact with Arthur.

I remember looking for Arthur's whereabouts in 2000, but I could not get any clue. I have a hunch Arthur must have died in the early 1980s.
