Ohrbach on Market Street in the 1950s. Seth Jerchower wrote in Facebook: Not only did my family shop at Orbach's, but my paternal grandmother was a seamstress there in Ladies' Alterations from the 1940s until her retirement in 1973. Of course, as a kid, Orbach's specializing in clothing, Bamberger's was my favorite store. Still, I remember many a sweater or some other garment I received as gifts in their white boxes with gold and blue accents.
