Irving Gerstein & bride on 11 June 1941, the day of their wedding. Stu Gerstein wrote on Facebook's 'At the Nevele' on 11 June 2021: My parents met while they were working at the Nevele. Dad worked in the dining room and Mom was a switchboard operator. Picture was taken on their wedding day. Today would have been their 80th wedding anniversary!  Dad was the dining room maitre d' from 1966 until he retired in 1983. He worked there for nearly 50 years.
