John P Spiak wrote in Facebook: I remember going to a concert at the (Madison Square) Garden and while we were on the train somebody rolled a joint the size of a cigar and passed it around. When we got to Christopher St and the doors open, the smoke poured out of our car like something out of a Cheech & Chong movie. It was hilarious!

Central Rail Road of New Jersey RS-12 # 1207 in a shot next to the CNJ FM Trainmaster; in Jersey City, N.J.; photo taken in September 1964; CNJ # Road Switcher # 1207 was built in January 1953, and by 1972 only # 1207 & 1208 remained at work; by January 1973, all the CNJ's RS-12 were retired.
