22nd to 23rd January 1935.
Broadway & 46th Street same day at night.
13 February 1932 on Times Square: Poor people queue up for a ration of sandwich & a cup of coffee during the Great Depression.
'Strictly dishonorable' opened on 26 December 1931 at RKO's Mayfair Theatre on Times Square.

7th Ave. & 46th St. on 26 July 1934; part of James Cagney's 'Here comes the Navy' was filmed aboard the USS Arizona that was later bombed by the Japanese in Pearl Harbour.
7th Ave. & 45th St. on 11 January 1934; one could see Greta Garbo in 'Queen Christina' at the Astor Theatre or Carole Lombard & Paul Lukas in 'No one man' or Lew Ayres & Mae Clarke in 'Impatient virgin'.
